Popstar princess Sarah Geronimo vows to donate part of the proceeds of her tenth anniversary concert "Perfect 10," which was held last Saturday, November 15 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, to the victims of super typhoon Yolanda.
"Napakalaking trahedya kaya we decided that the proceeds of the concert will benefit the families of the typhoon victims. Ginagawa ko ito ngayong gabi para sa kanila," Sarah told the audience.
The singer-actress shared how she was saddened by the tragedy.
"Hindi sapat ang salita para i-describe kung gaano kasakit ang nangyari sa bansa natin, sa lahat ng biktima ng Yolanda. Kagabi napanaginipan ko ilan sa mga images na nakikita natin sa news."
She dedicated the song "Light of a Million Mornings" to Yolanda victims.
Sarah wants to use her talent to help and give hope to the typhoon victims.
"Masuwerte tayong buhay tayo at magkakasama tayo. Sana magsilbi itong inspirasyon para magbigay tayo ng tulong in any way we can. Malalapagpasan natin ito."
Sarah also joined ABS-CBN's telethon on Sunday, November 17.
Sarah will hold the second leg of her concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on November 30.
